Watch a streamed version in full of the recent History Channel program UFOHunters. This edition was of significant interest as it covered the issue of the StarChild Skull and it's analyst Lloyd Pye. We've covered this amazing discovery elsewhere on the site.
Exopolitics UK contacted Lloyd and asked for his thoughts on how the program covered the topic - especially the creation of a model skull that you'll have seen towards the end. His response was detailed and interesting. You can read them below.

Comments from Lloyd Pye:
"I feel the show was quite well done overall, and generally
accurate. The birdseed comparison of brain volumes was impressive, as we knew it
would be. However, the sculpture shown at the end of the show was not well done.
When this idea was initially broached to me by the show's producers, I told them
it was a bad idea because no forensic sculptor on earth knows how to work with
anything other than human templates. Without me standing over their shoulder
pointing out the myriad physiological differences between the Starchild and a
human, they were bound to get it wrong and it would come out looking entirely
more like a human than it should. And sure enough, that is exactly what
happened.
"What you see is a human face wedged under a bulbous head.
That upper part of it is okay, and the rear of the head is also okay.
But from the eyebrows down it is all wrong. There is a "dip" from the brow to
the nose, which the Starchild does not have or express in any way. The eyes,
though left all black, are centered and at the usual depth of human eyes. The
nose is acqualine, which is not warranted by the nub of bone that remains of the
Starchild's nose bridge. The mouth has thin lips, but it is a human mouth in
every way. This may or may not be accurate, but since so little else is, I
suspect the mouth would not have been so human. The jawline and chin are fully
human, though small. And the neck is perhaps the worst offender, being fully of
human size and position when the Starchild's musculature against its bone makes
it clear that this is nothing like how it would have looked.
"To sum up: that sculpture was a disappointment,
but overall those of us involved in the Starchild Project were pleased by
how this episode of UFO Hunters turned out. It was certainly a
vast improvement over the flagrant hatchet job done on the Starchild
skull by the National Geographic cable show of 2006 (Is It Real?).

Hi - Lloyd will be presenting here in the UK at the end of June. Details on site front page.
David - I tend to agree with the MTV'isation of the topic BUT I guess it has to get the old style TV treatment to keep the management [I use that term on many levels!] looking at as young, hip, cool and none-threatening.

Too much swish, bang, teenage attention span, rock video stuff and repetitive scenes, not enough 'let's take a careful look at this' material. Also too much 'let's give both sides equal time' bogus debunking. Hopefully future efforts will be less self-conscious and more concerned with the actual material at hand, of which there is a great deal more than here mentioned. Let's get serious folks, this is part of the story of the age and it's far more than mere wowie-zowie entertainment. But thanks for the effort.

I did not follow what the DNA testing had concluded with the skull object... I thought it was one of those Mitchellin Hedges fake glass skulls when I first saw this promoted. Interesting though - wouldn't mind finding out more.

That skull created by the fx guy is pretty close to some of the hybrid type images you cans see online if you do a search for illustrations drawn from contact experiences.
