Nick Pope was given the main award for his work towards disclosure at the end of the 2009 Exopolitics X-Conference. In this short update we get feedback on the event, what he thought of the award and in addition we discuss the impact of the Milton Torres case which he has been closely involved with.
There is no doubt the award for his disclosure efforts are well deserved but it's hard to silence Nick's detractors who claim he is acting as a filteror control to the information release process. This has always been a claim against him but until recently few have made their case take on any substance - recently however Colin Andrews made similar claims after the release of his book "Government Circles" and documents his points.
Andrews suggests this is not a 'personal' gripe with Nick yet he is somewhat angry at certain incidents over the years. You can get an idea of his claims in the introductory article and video.
In a follow-up to our first chat with Alfred Webre we discuss how the field of exopolitics is developing and how some confusion has arisen between it's dynamic role as both an activist tool and a research science.
As part of this we ask Alfred what exactly went on during the period when he was asked to establish a remote viewing project at the infamous SRI and the ramifications of him refusing to give up desite pressure from many areas.
Alfred was involved at this years Exopolitics X-Conference in Washington as usual but he will also be speaking at the upcoming summit in Spain. He also clarifies why freedom of expression is the core part of this research area and discusses his thoughts on the response to his much publicised Mars research.

at previous conferences and the Press Club afterwards but when the
editors step in very little exposure is given. This year was different
which goes along with what we've suggested about 2009 being a
productive year as far as infiltrating exopolitical ideas into the
mainstream goes.

"I did not say if... I said when."this is the statement that the contact drives home repeatedly to the two New York based researchers we talk to here. Although the issue of secret meetings at the United Nations has been investigated and validated at length for over a year now, we thought it would be useful to find out how those directly involved thought it had disseminated and more importantly what it could mean for a species on the edge of a transcendental shift in how it perceives itself and its role in an expanding universe.
By the time this interview was done - I was more certain than ever that Clay and Shawn Pickering are two of the more valuable contributors to this field. It's synchronicity at its purest, quantum level when just the right situation occurs with just the right characters to pull it off. Although the information they've passed on via certain researchers and forums has received as much criticism as it has provoked enthusiastic interest, there is no doubting their sincerity and dedication to this profound and sometimes shocking issue. In fact we could hazard a guess that it is precisely the gravitas of the situation they've outlined that's caused a degree of 'fear response' in a small section of the research community. If the power structures had wanted to create some sort of prank for reasons best known to only themselves - they selected [although if you follow the initial account it was the other way round] two of the most difficult people to fool: their backgrounds are not from the UFO community, they've remained relative outsiders to most 'group-think' and their investigative skills were honed by early research into front or shell companies, covert-projects, black-budgets and narco-trafficking.

Slight diversion from the more formal exopolitics structure in this one but it had to be done. Adam thinks those of us wanting some kind of formal disclosure are "barking" and I can jive with that view... it's just as I said to him - I think we should try every option simultaneously - I always liked the clip from the film The Lawnmower Man where the cyber figure is surrounded by a spherical, virtual wall of combinations and he's manically pressing them at an exponential rate.
Many people will be aware of either Adam's website or his numerous podcasts and interviews. Covering a broad range of topic areas including conspiracy, UFOs, fringe culture, esoteric thought and psychedelics - he adds a unique aspect to the search for glimmers of light in this fascinating but murky field.

Thomas Valone gave a lecture on advanced energy and propulsion technologies in 2008 at the annual exopolitical event: The X-Conference. It took place at the Hilton Hotel in Gaithersburg just outside Washington DC.
Valone has been interested in the energy and propulsion systems of UFOs for several years. He has been focusing on zero-point enegy and electrogravitics and has a PhD in engineering. He is also an inventor and has worked as a patent examiner for the US Patent Office.
Valone mentions the devices of John Searl in this lecture.
