This is a brief outline of our aims for 2008. These have been discussed by the UK board and we're hoping to add further issues as the first quarter of this year passes. On a personal note I think 2008 will be noted as a year of transition - or perhaps more its novelty will mark the start of a transformational epoch - partially due to some unquantifiable backwash from the over-hyped 2012/Mayan omega point.
Goal #1
Currently in the process of re-issuing our information and media pack. In 2007 we targeted individual MPs and M.S.M editors if it was thought they'd be receptive to a basic introduction to this field.
We now intend to distribute a professional DVD to both Lords and Commons houses, complete with supporting literature. A larger pool of media representatives will also receive the package.
Goal #2
To increase the volume of research papers and articles submitted both within exopolitical circles and initiating a process to expose research areas and organisations to the data and ideas of this field.
Goal #3
To examine methods of making the Uk Exo Initiative more formal. Charitable status in England and Wales is fairly strict but this is still an option as is seeking or creating 'foundation' status.
Goal #4
This aim feeds into the above. We aim to be in a position where those associated with the Exo UK group receive some support and resources in attending conferences or events of interest. We need to help direct our members into suitable positions so they can deliver effective research, academic articles or created media to a diverse range of the wider community.
UK Response Teams: Other ideas are to plan for nationwide response teams whenever a significant UFO 'flap' appears. This would have the combined purpose of both providing accurate media reports and also offers the chance to interact with legitimate (if found to be) ETI.
Longer Term Aims
- To establish exopolitics courses in UK educational institutions.
- To work with a philanthropic individual or group who will help facilitate the creation of a dedicated residential rural* venue for accommodating people wishing to develop contact activities and protocols.
Note how both these options demonstrate the desire to simultaneously interact with official structures and also follow more novel avenues of becoming the first [probably of many] community attempting to consciously engage 'off-world' civilisations.
* Currently trying to locate UK versions of what the US call gravity anomaly maps - these are available in the US so we presume the UK government/military has something similar, maybe just not in the public sphere.
If you have ideas - please get in
touch. We also need help covering costs - consider donating something
to offset expenses. There is a paypal button on the main page or
you can simply get in touch with any board member and one of us will
help.
