This article was sent to the Exopolitics Institute mail list to contribute to ongoing discussions around alien symbols initially based on the Californian drone sightings which has some alleged system of AI based instruction via the symbols visible on the craft itself.
Exopolitics Uk have done a second interview session with Jim Sparks. Part two is important as it goes into more depth on the visual language issues than any other interviews I have heard with Jim.
As Mary points out, this whole phenomena is a common thread in many who have directly experienced abductions or contacts but the detail we get back from Jim's case make it worth focusing in on. From what we know so far, it seems that ET intervention is taking place on two primary levels. One is the direct genetic/seeding/DNA intervention and the other we could suggest is partially epigenetic as there seems to be significant data relating to re-booting linguistic, conceptual and communication structures. It's not a significant stretch to assume the language instinct was probably 'given' in the first place. If not directly then certainly catalysed by extra-terrestrial intervention and possibly, as some anthropologists claim, also by psychoactive plants - both of these of course involve communication with the "Other".
A lot of the ET theory is supported by the recent findings of the Max Planck Institute who located the FOXP2 gene. This gene is a couple of minor [relatively] genetic shifts away and importantly is not a gene directly responsible for language itself but instead it seems to work as a catalyst for associated systems [vocal development etc] to do with linguistic processing not provision of a direct, innate system such as that pushed for decades by Noam Chomsky et al.
In the context of this, it seems fair to suggest that the language tinkering is a continual process and that we are now seeing the next stage leak through in contactee stories such as that of Jim Sparks. In the audio and the book Jim wrote you get more of an idea about what was being created but there seems to be some link between audible tone and movement in the body. What Jim discloses in the interview was that as each stroke was traced out by his finger - a certain system of buzzes or clicks accompanied the process. In addition he describes feeling his body having the sensation of being 'pulled' or 'swayed' relative to each stroke/letter. This synaesthetic aspect to producing symbols is the basic, elementary form or creating meaning and thus reality. Vocal utterances are doing the same thing but in a far more abstracted and distant manner.
By making human nervous system go through these stages is is making us aware of how thought forms constructs and the rapidly accelerated informational processing capability Mary mentions is perhaps this process at faster rates. The body essentially becomes a kind of holographic, resonant device for amplifying meaning and on an evolutionary level this is the shift into telepathic consciousness.
As John Mack and Joe Lewels maybe found out when looking into the various 'alien' data from the Amazon region - tribes exist to this day in the Amazon Basin that enter trance states and are adept at literally passing symbols or meaning between themselves. I say literally because one can send a vision/colour/shape in their minds eye to another and the other person or persons can describe what was 'meant' by the symbol. Here we have a terrestrial system in operation akin to what Jim was being taught on board the alien craft.

They were urging me to experiment with my voice and I discovered years later, taking Ayahuasca in the Amazon jungles, tribes of Indians that have actually mastered this art, and that saturate their bodies with DMT and harmaline, and then sing. But for them this singing is not a musical exercise, it's a pictorial exercise. They see what they intend. This is a kind of telepathy." Terence McKenna
The interview maybe also breaks new ground on a related area. As part of the link between resonating tone and UFOs/abductions I think we were the first to play the alleged sound of a craft [normally acoustically 'cloaked'] to an abductee with conscious recall of the ascending carrier wave frequency that is also reported when some people are physically abducted and moved to a craft or from place to place. I may well be imposing my own ideas on this but if you listen carefully as the sound is played down the phone line - Jim seems to get quite unresponsive and his breathing pattern shifts. Frequency is obviously a key part of this process - as it seems to be in the 3D language case.
Here's a section of the P.A.C.L CARET systems discussion and supposed manuals. CARET appears to be a drone that functions on A.I. type systems using symbols generated in a certain medium that remove the need for interface or translation. This drone was constructed from ET technologies according to the whistle-blower Isaac:
"But their (the E.T.) technology is different. It really did operate like the magical piece of paper sitting on a table, in a manner of speaking. They had something akin to a language that could quite literally execute itself, at least in the presence of a very specific type of field. The language, a term I am still using very loosely, is a system of symbols along with geometric forms and patterns that fit together to form diagrams that are themselves functional. Once they are drawn, so to speak, on a suitable surface made of a suitable material and in the presence of a certain type of field, the diagrams immediately begin performing the desired tasks.”

Some communication/information appears to be in the form of a 'download' to the individual. But when on the craft they recall the symbols that are seen by us as two dimensional in the 'super conscious state by experiencers, as holographic in nature, and as one experiencer describes it as one symbol can contain the information that would fill a room with encyclopaedias.

The experiencers speak of the ship being controlled though thought.
At present I am researching the way telepathic communication occurs on the craft.
